Dr Margaret Woodhouse receives Order of the British Empire



Maggie and I collaborated on a chapter discussing patients with Down Syndrome and their associated vision problems in my latest book ....

I will be visiting with her this fall when I stop off at Cardiff University after giving some lectures/research presentations at the International Congress of Behavioral Optometry in Birmingham, UK. She is an awesome lady!!!

Dr Margaret Woodhouse receives OBE

...Dr Margaret Woodhouse has been awarded an Order of the British Empire (OBE) in the Queen’s birthday honours list. She is recognised for services to optometry and for services to people with disabilities.

A senior lecturer in the School of Optometry and Vision Sciences at Cardiff University, Dr Woodhouse’s main interests are in the visual development of children with Down’s syndrome and the eye care needs of children and adults with disabilities. ....
