  • Take a few minutes each month to search your name and your practice name to see what is being said about you, and take appropriate steps to address it.
  • Create a Google Alert for your name and your practice name to receive notifications each time it’s mentioned online.
  • Make time to address any negative feedback you may come across online. If possible to comment or respond directly, be respectful – offer an apology for a negative experience and say you want the opportunity to make it right.
  • Increase your positive reviews by asking patients who did have a good experience to post about it, if they feel comfortable doing so.
  • Take steps to optimize your website and/or your practice website to ensure it is high on the list of search results for major search engines, ensuring patients read the message you want them to see before reading anyone else’s.
  • Control your message proactively by seeding press releases and social media on a regular basis....
