Wild Chicago Features Lyons Family Eye Care

Dr. Stephanie Lyons, a member of the American Optometric Association and the College of Optometrists in Vision Development, along with her whole office was interviewed by Emmy Award winning TV producer Ben Hollis. Here Ben invites Dr. Stephanie Lyons, John (her husband and practice manager), and office staff to tell all about what makes Lyons Family Eye Care (LFEC) a Chicago eye care center of excellence. The key? Our high-tech and high-touch approach to eye and vision care.

I wasn't in the office the day they filmed this so I missed out on the fun, but I do my very best to add to the high level of care our patients receive when I am there on Wednesdays. Dr. Lyons, a former student of mine at the Illinois College of Optometry, is an outstanding practitioner of the vision arts. We provide primary and specialized eye and vision care including diagnosing and treating learning related vision problems such as convergence insufficiency, focusing problems and vision information processing anomalies. We conduct computerized assessment of eye movements while reading to determine if eye movements affect reading fluency and have additional technology to help us meet our patients' needs.

We also offer Optometric Vision Therapy for many of the problems noted above as well.

Come to Lyons Family Eye Care for all your vision needs. We are there to serve you. DM
